About Thatcher's BBQ & Grill
Our Story
Thatcher's BBQ & Grill started in April of 2010. We are a family owned and operated business ran by Melanie Thatcher, Ryan Thatcher, and Amanda Thatcher. Since the beginning, it has been our goal to provide quality food, large portions, and excellent customer service. Thatcher's BBQ & Grill started as a take-out only shack located next to Jenkins Park in Trenton, Ga. Within a year, customers wanted a place to dine in, so we moved a portable building next to the shack. This created the first Thatcher's BBQ and Grill dining room. A screened in porch was added as demand grew over the years. Further demand caused us to outgrow this shack, moving Thatcher's BBQ & Grill into a better facility in the town square of Trenton, Ga.
After 2 years of being in business in the Trenton area, the second location began in Rosedale, Ga. High demand grew within months to the point we were forced to turn away guests. After a year in Rosedale, Thatcher's BBQ & Grill moved to Calhoun, Ga where we were awarded "Best of the Best for Calhoun" several years in a row. This success sparked the desire to expand, so a smaller location became the third Thatcher's BBQ & Grill in Ringgold, Ga. It continues to see standing room only crowds week after week. In July 2019 Summerville, Ga was opened, becoming the 4th Thatcher's BBQ & Grill to be born. It is our goal at Thatcher's BBQ & Grill to continue to expand as a family owned and operated business.
